The aunt of a young Pasco boy who was struck by a car is requesting donations to assist with medical bills.
Adilene Ramos Viveros of Pasco set up a GoFundMe account on Thursday to help raise money for Eunel Ramos Gomez, 10, after a car struck his bicycle around 5:52 p.m. near 15th Avenuse and West Lewis Street.
Nearly $600 of the $3,000 requested had been raised as of Friday morning.
Ramos Gomez was flown to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. He suffered multiple injuries, including a broken right arm and head injuries, according to the crowdfunding page.
“Doctors say he will eventually get better, the biggest worry is his brain injury. We have asked all our friends and family to pray for him, and so far he is getting better little by little. We are very grateful for all the support,” according to his page.
