The 30th annual Desert Plateau Luminaria is at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 in west Pasco.
The event in the neighborhoods between Road 44 and Argent Road features 30,000 paper bags flickering with candles along the sidewalks.
Attendees can enjoy the “miles of lighted masterpieces” along with about 1,500 holiday-decorated homes by foot or vehicle, and carolers are welcome.
McGee Elementary School, 4601 Horizon Drive, also will be partially open to accept nonperishable food donations for its “Fill the Bus” campaign to help Second Harvest.
Never miss a local story.
