The Seattle Seahawks are coming to the Tri-Cities June 25-26 and there will be several opportunities for fans to interact with the team.
The 12 Tour is a statewide tour of current and former players, Sea Gals cheerleaders, the Blue Thunder drum line and the team mascot, Blitz, a release said.
Players and some Sea Gals will be at the Tri-City Dust Devils game at Pasco’s Gesa Stadium on June 25 and will take part in some activities. The team did not say what players will be here.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson played for the Dust Devils in 2010 after being drafted by the Colorado Rockies, who owned the Single A team until the San Diego Padres took over after the 2014 season.
The 12 Tour then will stop at Kennewick High School’s Lampson Field on June 26 for the family friendly Seahawks 12 Fest that will include a combine challenge, dancing lessons from the Sea Gals and other games.
The event also will have photo opportunities and the possibility of winning game tickets for the upcoming season or access to the teams training camp. People will be able to sign a flag to commemorate the event that will be presented to Coach Pete Carroll and hung in the Seahawks locker room at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field.
