The Columbia Basin Badger Club’s June 18 forum in Richland will focus on, “Can Homosexuality be Cured?”
The forum is 6 p.m. at the Richland Shilo Inn.
Speakers are Buster Ross and David H. Pickup.
Ross is an adjunct instructor at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. He’s certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists and focuses on “improving quality of life outcomes by helping professionals to better understand the importance of sex positivity and sexual health education in practice,” Badger Club information said.
Pickup is a licensed marriage and family therapist who practices “reparative therapy,” primarily working with gay men who want to change their sexuality, the information said.
Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non members. The price goes up to $30 the day of the event.
