The Benton-Franklin Court Appointed Special Advocate Program plans a free, three-day volunteer training 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 10, 17 and 25 at the Juvenile Justice Center in Kennewick.
Volunteers speak for abused and neglected children in court. The Benton-Franklin program represents about 240 foster children. About 50 have no volunteer assigned.
