A 64-year-old Kahlotus man died Thursday night when his Harley-Davidson motorcycle hit a light pole on Highway 397 in Pasco.
Jake Robert Laws was headed north about 7:45 p.m. when he lost control near A Street.
He was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
Laws was a retired electrician at Hanford and had lived in the Tri-Cities for 30 years before moving to Kahlotus 10 years ago.
