The chance of thunderstorms will put the Tri-Cities area under a red flag fire warning from 5 p.m. Monday to 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The chance of thunderstorms Monday night is slight but will increase to 30 percent for Tuesday through Wednesday night.
After that the chance of thunderstorms could decrease, but still are possible Thursday and Friday.
Monday will be hot with the high possibly up to 101 degrees, followed by some cooling the rest of the week.
Highs should be about 94 degrees Tuesday and 90 degrees Wednesday. Then highs should drop into the 80s through at least Friday, according to the weather service.
