Two Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinical students will visit the region -- and make a stop in the Tri-Cities -- as part of their community outreach training.
Rabbis Yossi Grosh and Nochum Labkowsky will be in the Tri-Cities early Tuesday and Wednesday. They're also visiting Spokane, Walla Walla and Pullman.
The rabbis are taking part in The Roving Rabbis program and will be "reaching out to members of the Jewish community in the region -- most often in one-on-one home visitations -- listening, talking as they seek to reinvigorate people's Jewish connections," a news release said.
Through the program, which dates to the '40s, rabbinical students are dispatched around the U.S. and to many other countries.
Never miss a local story.
