A Kennewick woman's condition has been upgraded to satisfactory at Harborview Medical Center, a hospital official said Wednesday.
Desirae N. Cross, 23, was taken to the Seattle hospital after a two-car crash July 16 on Highway 224, three miles from West Richland, the Washington State Patrol reported. Four other people were injured.
Rebecca E. Meincke, 31, of Ritzville, was driving north on Keene Road when her 2005 Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2008 Ford pickup driven by Bruce C. Emory, 56, of Benton City, the state patrol said.
Emory was driving west on Highway 224, the state patrol said.

Meincke was injured and treated at the scene and Emory was not injured, the state patrol said.
Meincke's three passengers were taken by ambulance to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland: Cross, Justin A. Olson, 31, of Washtucna, and David J. Kofoed, 29, of Kennewick.
