Temperatures will cool to closer to normal temperatures for August in the Tri-Cities starting Wednesday.
Tuesday afternoon the high in the Tri-Cities is expected to reach 99 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies should remain hazy today from smoke from wildfires, according to the weather service.
But Wednesday through Saturday highs should drop to about 92 or 93 degrees.
Lows should be in the low 60s.
Temperatures will start to rise a few degrees Sunday, with highs in the mid 90s forecast for Sunday and Monday.
