Cork's Place is seeking volunteers to facilitate support groups for children ages 3 to 18 who have experienced the death of a loved one. The groups aim to help in processing grief through fun, imaginative and active play.
The groups meet every other week during the school year.
A 32-hour training is required. Sessions are scheduled in September and October, and the deadline to register is Monday.
The Kennewick-based Cork's Place is a program of The Chaplaincy.
Never miss a local story.
Facilitators are asked to make a 10-month commitment.
Training dates are Sept. 12-13, 26-27 and Oct. 10-11.
