Sunrise Rotary is offering a viewing area for special needs patrons during the Water Follies.
Specialty Mobility is the sponsor.
The area will be set up by the Vietnam veterans memorial on the Kennewick side and will include a shaded tent, cooling misters, water and ice and private specially-designed portable restrooms.
Volunteers will be on hand to help guests, and shuttle service also will be available.
Eligible special needs patrons include those who are wheelchair-bound and/or have physical and developmental disabilities, a news release said.
They may bring along one caregiver.
Entrants must show proof of a purchased daily or weekend pass, a news release said.
Dial-A-Ride service for the special needs viewing area will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Reservations must be made by 5 p.m. Thursday for Friday, and by noon Friday for Saturday and Sunday. To make a reservation, call 735-0160.
The Follies also has designated handicap parking, with help getting from there to the special needs viewing area available by calling 460-6504 or 551-0572.
