The new Reach center in Richland is offering events this month highlighting its Manhattan Project exhibit and celebrating Hanford Engineering Works.
Tours of the historic Hanford B reactor will depart at 11 a.m. from the Reach on July 14, 15, 16 and 17. Cost is $40, including transportation, interpretation at theB Reactor and lunch, plus admission to the Reach center. The tours last about 31/2 hours. Space is limited.
A storyteller's panel of Manhattan Project history is planned from 1 to 4 p.m. July 18 at the Reach. Cost is included with the Reach admission.
And a Mess Hall Dinner with the Tri-City Big Band and lindy hop dancing is July 19. A reception starts at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m.

Cost is $60 for Reach members and $75 for others. A cash prize will be given for the best 1940s costume.
The Reach is at 1943 Columbia Park Trail at the west end of Columbia Park.
