A group of 35 Pi Kappa Phi fraternity members from around the nation will cycle into Richland Friday.
They're one of three teams participating in a Push America-sponsored Journey of Hope bike ride that covers 32 states and 2,000 miles on three routes. Their mission is to spread a message of acceptance and understanding for people with disabilities.
The team will arrive at 2 p.m. at the Tire Factory, 2761 Duportail St., Richland, for lunch. The team will have dinner at The Arc of Tri-Cities.
Their transAmerica team of 35 departed from Seattle on Wednesday and will arrive in Walla Walla on Saturday. They're aiming for Washington, D.C., to rendezvous Aug. 2 with the other two teams of 35 cyclists each.
