A Richland woman was taken to the hospital Sunday morning after she fell asleep while driving on Interstate 182 and crashed, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Yasuko T. Calley, 67, was driving a 2003 Saturn east in Prosser around 7:40 a.m. when the car drifted into a median and rolled, state patrol said.
She was taken to Prosser Memorial Hospital and is in stable condition.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash and Yasuko was alone in the car, state patrol said.
The Saturn was totaled and towed from the scene.
