Friends of Sacajawea State Park will join Daughters of the Pioneers, Garden Genies and Lions Club to plant several trees at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacajawea State Park.
The park is five miles southeast of Pasco at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers. The event is free and open to anyone who wants to watch or help plant the trees.
For more details, call 366-1272. A Discovery Pass parking permit is required for every vehicle entering the park. Guests may buy a day pass for $10 or an annual pass for $30 at the interpretive center.
