A local gang outreach program is asking for community feedback on gang activity in the Tri-Cities.
F.I.R.M.E. recently received a state grant to create a gang prevention and intervention program for the Mid-Columbia. The goal is to help get youth out of gangs safely.
The organization is collecting data to create the prevention and intervention models.
Officials are asking for citizens to take a survey to help better understand the community perception of gangs.
The 20-question survey can be completed at www.firmeoutreach.org.
