Get ready for a swinging weekend of music when the Untapped Blues Festival kicks off Friday with a Blues on the Columbia event at Clover Island Inn in Kennewick.
After the reception, the evening concerts start at 6 p.m. with music by Bent on Blues band, followed by the Randy Oxford Band at 7:30 p.m. and Shane Dwight at 9:15 p.m.
Admission to the Untapped Blast-Off Party is $15. Or, a package deal that includes overnight accommodations for two, two tickets to both Friday and Saturday events, plus a shuttle service to the fairgrounds is $190.
Tickets are available at the Clover Island Inn hotel or online at eventbrite.com. Tickets purchased at the web site are subject to service charges.
The after party is becoming a tradition here at Clover Island Inn with a open jam led by Tom Gnoza and the Millionaires Club, said Amber Martin, marketing director for the hotel.
The Untapped Blues & Brew Festival is Saturday at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Kennewick. Gates open at 11:30 a.m., and music starts at noon.
