Second Harvest still needs volunteers to help with the National Association of Letter Carriers' annual food drive, Stamp Out Hunger, on May 10.
The nationwide food drive, where area residents can leave food donations near their mailboxes, helps provide nonperishable food for hungry families in the Tri-Cities.
Volunteers who can lift 20 to 30 pounds are needed to unload the donated food from mail trucks onto Second Harvest trucks on May 10.
Various shifts are available in Pasco, Richland and West Richland. Kids ages 10 and older can participate with adult supervision. Advance registration is required. Contact Valery Lawson at 545-0787 or email email@example.com.
