Plan to get up early on Saturdays this summer. Otherwise the early birds will snatch up the first fresh greens, asparagus, radishes and herbs of the season at the farmers markets.
Even if vendors sell much of their produce you’ll still find vendors selling soaps and lotions, crafts, bedding plants, honey and jams at various markets.
