Pasco was the only Eastern Washington city ranked in the top ten of the state's cities "on the rise," according to a national real estate search site.
Pasco was ranked No. 2 on the list, behind Issaquah, in Estately's 2014 rankings for cities with populations above 30,000.
Cities were ranked on six criteria: population increase, increase in home values, reduction in poverty levels, decrease in crime rate, increase in income and increase in residents with bachelor's degrees.
Pasco has seen a 104 percent population increase since 2000, the third highest in the state, along with a 43 percent increase in income, the fourth highest, the rankings said.
Richland was considered in the mid-level of the 37 cities ranked, finishing 21st.
Kennewick was named a "city in decline," ranking 28th.
