A former Kennewick woman was identified as one of the people found dead after the massive mudslide near Oso.
The body of Amanda Lennick was identified by a Snohomish County medical examiner on Saturday, her father, Dennis, told the Herald.
Lennick was listed among the missing after the slide hit and wiped out the small community she recently moved to.
She grew up in Kennewick and was a part of the first class of nursing students to graduate from Washington State University Tri-Cities.
Never miss a local story.
Lennick was a nurse in the Tri-Cities and most recently worked at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
Three men were working at Lennick’s house the morning of the slide.
The Seattle Times reports two of the men, Stephen Neal, 55, and William Welsh, 66, are among the dead. A third man, Steve Hadaway, 53, has not been identified.
