The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 5 p.m. Monday for most of the Mid-Columbia.
Blowing dust is expected in places as the wind gusts as high as 45 mph in the Tri-Cities, according to the weather service.
Sustained speeds of 32 to 34 mph are expected in the Tri-Cities, decreasing to 16 to 21 mph Monday night.
However, gusts could be has high as 31 mph Monday night.
