A Burbank man was killed Friday morning when the pickup truck he was driving rolled on Interstate 82 east of Zillah.
Mark S. Sasser, 56, was thrown from the Chevy Silvarado around 7 a.m. near milepost 51, according to the Washington State Patrol. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Sasser was driving west when the pickup went off the road to the right, before crossing back across the westbound lanes and rolling, state patrol said.
Sasser was transported to Toppenish Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:40 a.m., state patrol said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
