John C.I. Young, the co-defendant in last summer’s shooting death of Joshua Snapp, 17, appears at a hearing Friday in Benton County Superior Court. His first-degree murder trial was moved to April 7.
Prosecutor Andy Miller, right, told Judge Bruce Spanner that Snapp’s family did not want to go through another trial so soon. Joshua H. Hunt, 19, was convicted earlier this week of second-degree murder. Scheduling conflicts for the attorneys was another reason raised to delay the second trial.
