Posters of Badger Mountain Elementary School students standing in the shape of a "12" in support of the Seattle Seahawks are available for purchase.
The school is selling the 13-by-19-inch posters for $12 as a fundraiser for Mushtaq Jihad, whose children attend Badger Mountain.
Jihad, who lost his leg in a bombing in his native Iraq, recently was diagnosed with leukemia.
Teachers and staff organized the photo for the poster the Friday before the Seahawks' Super Bowl victory. Herald photographer Paul T. Erickson took the photo from a rented plane flown by the spouse of a teacher as the students cheered.
Richland printer Digital Image is donating the posters for free. All money paid for the posters will go toward helping Jihad purchase a new prosthetic leg, estimated to cost about $30,000.
The school has had about 100 advance copies of the poster for the past two days, said Principal Gail Ledbetter.
"We've sold quite a few already," she said.
Badger Mountain students were sent home with order forms to their families on Thursday, Ledbetter said.
Anyone interested in purchasing a poster who is not connected to the school can visit 1515 Elementary St., or call 509-967-6225 to order one.
