An estimated 2 to 4 inches of snow could fall Saturday night in the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service.
However, that could be the last snowfall over the next week heavy enough to require roads to be plowed and sidewalks to be shoveled.
The weather service plans to lift a winter weather advisory for the Tri-Cities at 4 a.m. Sunday.
The chance of snow in the Tri-Cities Sunday should decrease to 30 percent, according to the weather service.
Then temperatures are expected to rise, causing precipitation to fall as rain through the work week.
