Four people will be inducted into the Pasco High School Hall of Fame at a 6:30 p.m. ceremony Wednesday in the school's auditorium.
Pasco city Councilman Saul Martinez, coach and mentor Danny Carey and community activists Charles "Chuck" and Carol Keltch will be honored during the ceremony, a release said. The public is invited to attend.
Martinez attended Pasco schools and has lived in Pasco since 2001. He is a former Pasco School Board member and has served with several other agencies and organizations. Along with being on the city council, he works at Mission Support Alliance and owns Desert Plateau Transport.
Carey graduated from Pasco High in 1968 and dedicated years of his life to the Young Life program and to coaching track, cross country and softball. He's also been involved in community organizations. He recently retired after working for the city of Richland for 30 years.
The Keltches graduated from Pasco High in 1957 and have supported the community through groups such as the Shriners, Pasco Chamber of Commerce, Tri-City Construction Council, Kiwanis, Masons, Rainbows, DeMolay, Water Follies, and the Miss Tri-Cities Pageant. They retired from their family's construction business in 2000.
