A fourth-grader at St. Patrick's School in Pasco won a wagon of toys from Franklin County PUD's holiday program to help needy families cover electric bills.
The Helping Hands program is funded through donations from PUD employees and customers. For every $1 a customer donates, their name is entered to win the wagon or one of two gift baskets. The program raised more than $2,000 this year.
Dalia Aguilar promised to share her winnings with her brother, sister and parents.
Customers Amalio Delgado and Joel Hernandez took home the gift baskets.
PUD Commissioner Stu Nelson also gave out scarves, coats, hats and gloves to customers who attended the prize announcement.
