The Prosser School Board has a full roster for the first time in months.
The board voted Thursday to appoint Warren Barmore to the vacant seat after interviewing him and other candidates during a special meeting. Barmore will be sworn in at the next regular board meeting Dec. 17.
Barmore served on the board for years, including stints as board president, before leaving in 2009, allowing Jermey Tuttle to run unopposed. Tuttle resigned from the board because he moved out of the area he represented.
Barmore is an eye doctor in Prosser and also has grandchildren attending Prosser schools. Superintendent Ray Tolcacher said Barmore was a good member in the past and welcomed his return.
Tuttle was the third board member to resign from the board this year because of a move.
