PROSSER -- A 33-year-old Kennewick woman was killed Friday morning when she was thrown from a car she was riding in near Prosser.
Tina M. Maya was a passenger in a 2003 Ford Focus that crashed on Interstate 82 east of Prosser, said the Washington State Patrol. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the car, Mika A. Maya-Adams, 21, of Richland, and passenger Barbara M. Longjaw, 62, of Kennewick, were taken to Prosser Medical Center.
Longjaw was treated and later transferred to Trios Health, formerly Kennewick General Hospital, where she was in a stable condition Friday evening.

Maya-Adams was treated and later released.
The three woman involved in the crash are related, said Trooper Pete Cozzitorto.
Maya-Adams lost control of the car just east of Prosser about 7:43 a.m., the state patrol said.
A blown tire may be to blame. The car rolled several times and Maya ended up underneath the car, said the WSP.
