Wind gusts of up to 43 mph are forecast in the Tri-Cities after 10 p.m. Friday, continuing through much of Saturday.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from 10 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Saturday.
A strong upper jet stream will contribute to winds that start to build Friday with a southwest wind of 21 to 23 mph and gusts as high as 33 mph. Rain also is possible.
Friday night a southwest wind of 28 to 33 mph is forecast with gusts as high as 43 mph.
