Two Kennewick men allegedly involved in an armed robbery last week now are behind bars.
Luke V. Loftus, 23, was arrested Friday night and booked into the Benton County Jail on a 72-hour investigative hold for first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, according to a Kennewick police news release.
Christopher J. Meyer, 29, was arrested Saturday night and booked into the jail on six outstanding warrants and a 72-hour investigative hold for first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, the release said.
Police said two masked men pushed their way into a home on the 3000 block of West 21st Avenue on Monday, one armed with a handgun and the other a baseball bat.

"One suspect took a large duffel bag that contained medical marijuana, while the victim, Paul McDowell, struggled with the second suspect. Both suspects were able to leave the residence with the stolen marijuana," the news release said.
McDowell, 23, reported the incident to Kennewick police on Thursday. Detectives with the department's Criminal Apprehension Team investigated and identified Loftus and Meyer as suspects, the release said.
