Tri-City K-12 student enrollment is still booming, though the total number of additional students has dropped since schools opened last week.
The Pasco School District reported an enrollment of 16,328 students Tuesday, 695 more students than were enrolled at the same time last year.
The Richland School District reported having 11,871 students enrolled. That's 241 more students than the district had in classrooms at the same time last year.
The Kennewick School District did not provide enrollment numbers Tuesday but previously reported having 16,778 the middle of last week. That was about 100 students more than the district had when classes ended in June.
