The Prosser School Board is seeking applicants for one of its recently vacated seats.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, a registered voter and reside in the area assigned to that board seat, south of Anderson Road, west of Crosby Road, east of the district boundary and north of the Old Inland Empire Highway and Johnson Road. The seat has a two-year term.
Applications will be accepted until Aug. 23.

The board will review the applications on Aug. 27 and select five candidates, who will be invited to a board meeting Sept. 3.
Candidate interviews will be Sept. 5, with a new board member appointed on Sept. 17.
Interested individuals should contact the district at 786-3323.
