A meeting on Pasco's historic preservation plan is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The city council is creating the plan to help Pasco's Historic Preservation Commission, said Assistant Planner Jeff Adams.
Several challenges include having historic buildings that are owned by government entities or nonprofit agencies, like the downtown post office, county historical museum and Naval Air Station control tower. Another issue is having the buildings scattered around town, rather than in a historic district.
After a brief presentation, attendees can share their thoughts.
Tonight's meeting is in the council chambers at Pasco City Hall, 525 N. Third Ave.
