Southridge High School sophomore Tayler Plunkett was the second runner-up for Miss Washington Outstanding Teen.
The Kennewick teen was named Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen in July, after competing for the title twice before, being named fourth runner-up in 2010 and first runner-up in 2011.
Tayler, 16, competed against 23 other teens for the title of Miss Washington's Outstanding Teen in Burien last weekend.
Tayler will receive a $750 scholarship after becoming second runner-up.
