The license of a Kennewick massage practitioner has been suspended after allegations of sexual misconduct, the state Department of Health announced Friday.
Donald A. Brandsma has 20 days to respond and to ask for a hearing, a health department news release said.
He can't practice in the state for the time being.
Brandsma declined to comment when reached by phone Friday.
Health department documents allege:
w He told a patient she was cute and he loved her, placed his head on her back, put his hand under the draping and touched her breast and kissed her forehead during a massage appointment in 2011.
w He told another patient she was cute, he loved her and would one day make love to her, placed his upper body on her back, kissed her back, put his hand down the inside of her shorts and told her he was aroused during a massage appointment earlier this year.
He admitted to a health department investigator that he may have told that patient she was cute, but said he didn't remember portions of the patient's massage sessions because of medication he was taking for post-traumatic stress disorder, the documents said.
