The city of Pasco will have to two public meetings tonight on planned road improvements on Road 68 and Oregon Avenue.
The Road 68 meeting, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., will include discussion on replacing "suicide lanes" center turn lanes between Burden Boulevard and Sandifur Parkway with a raised median, as well as turn lane modifications at the Burden-Clemente Lane intersection.
Traffic signal upgrades also are part of the federally funded project.
The Oregon Avenue project, which is scheduled to be discussed from 7:15 to 9 p.m., involves widening the road to five lanes between Interstate 182 and Ainsworth Avenue.
Never miss a local story.
The city said the project will accommodate left turn lanes while adding curb and gutter along both sides of the road.
Both meetings will be in the council chambers on the first floor of Pasco City Hall, 525 N. Third Ave.
They will include presentations and question-and-answer sessions.
