A section of South Gum Street in Kennewick will be closed at times through August while city officials install sewer lines.
The closure between East 45th Avenue and South Kingwood Street starts Thursday.
Residents and businesses needing to access their property inside the zone will be allowed in and out.
However, through traffic will be denied access at various times and will be sent to established detours, the city said.
Never miss a local story.
The closure is part of a Local Improvement District project to bring sewer into the Lakeridge Estates area.
