Cooler and damp weather is expected through the rest of the work week in the Mid-Columbia, according to the National Weather Service.
An unseasonably cold low pressure system will move into the Pacific Northwest on Tuesday and remain over the region through much of the rest of the week.
Temperatures could be 10 degrees or more below normal starting Wednesday.
Tuesday the high is expected to be 73 degrees in the Tri-Cities, dropping to 67 degrees Wednesday.
Highs Thursday and Friday should be near 70 degrees.
A 40 percent chance of showers is forecast Tuesday, with rain also possible through Friday.
Tuesday could be breezy with wind gusts as high as 29 mph.
