WALLA WALLA -- Walla Walla High School junior Ian Davidson won Friday's culinary competition in Walla Walla as part of The Cutting Edge Tour - Seeking America's Top Teen Chef competition.
The event was judged and filmed by Food Network Chopped Judge Chef Maneet Chauhan.
Three Walla Walla High School students competed for the Walla Walla divisional spot.
Davidson will now be competing against teens from 17 high schools throughout the country for Top Teen Chef honors.

Walla Walla High School Culinary Arts teacher Barbara Buttice is Davidson's teacher. He was mentored by Chef Chris Teal of Public House 124 in Walla Walla.
The competition included a 40-minute cooking challenge. Davidson won a deluxe knife set and is now eligible to win a trip to Washington, D.C. The trip includes cooking with one of the featured chefs of the White House Chef Tour.
The national winner of the high school competitions will be announced at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago on May 18.
