Car hits railroad tracks in Touchet after driver falls asleep

A 24-year-old woman and her passenger were injured Sunday afternoon when their car left Highway 12 and hit the railroad tracks in Touchet after the driver fell asleep. Sara C. Kawchack was behind the wheel of the 1995 Subaru Legacy at the time of the 4:14 p.m. crash, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
