An immigration debate information seminar called "Paths to Equality" is planned from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Columbia Basin College, 2600 N. 20th Ave., Pasco.
The event is in the Center for Career & Technical Education Building, rooms 203-203A.
Rosalinda Guillen, executive director of Community to Community Development in Bellingham, and Maru Mora-Villalpando of Latino Advocacy are scheduled to speak.They work together on the Dignity Campaign, a national organization focused on immigration reform and human rights.
"Their multi-lingual presentation will focus on the details being discussed in the latest proposals for comprehensive immigration reform in Washington, D.C., and their likely impact on the people of this state," a news release said.
Guillen and Mora-Villalpando also will be speaking to the Tri-City Democrats at 7 p.m. todayat the Laborers Local 348, 2505 Duportail St., in Richland.
