RICHLAND -- Richland crews worked through the night to restore power to customers, said Richland city utility officials Wednesday morning.
Five homes remain without power, and the city said it will reconnect service after repairs are done on the homes.
Four line crews continued distribution system repairs Wednesday, including fixing street lights.
Tree crews will continue to cut and remove trees around power lines and equipment, said the release.

"The city wishes to thank customers for their patience as we worked to restore power to them," said Energy Services Director Bob Hammond. "This storm caused significant damage and disrupted a lot of customers' lives. I'm proud of our employees and the diligence and skill they exhibited during this event."
City officials continue to warn people to stay away from areas where crews are working and do not attempt to remove trees or debris near power lines.
