The possible wintery mix of snow and freezing rain predicted for Wednesday night should turn to rain todayin the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service in Pendleton.
It had predicted up to a 40 percent chance of a wintry mix Wednesday evening. Warming weather was expected to change precipitation to rain by 4 a.m. today.
There could be some patchy fog before 10 a.m. today. After that, the chance of rain will increase to 60 percent, with new precipitation of a tenth to a quarter of an inch possible.
