The 11th annual "Octoberfest Food Bank-Food Drive" in the Pasco Autoplex in conjunction with Tri-Cities Yoke's Fresh Market continues through the first week of November.
Nonperishable items can be brought to McCurley Integrity Dealerships, Russ Dean RV or Tri-Cities Mitsubishi & Thrifty Car Sales in the Pasco Autoplex.
During October, shoppers at Yoke's Fresh Market stores also can buy an Octoberfest "food bag" during checkout and drop it in the donation bin.
The Autoplex dealerships hope to exceed last year's $18,725 cash donation raised during the food drive to buy food items needed for food banks at a discount through the Yoke's Fresh Market stores.
A large Octoberfest Food Drive goal board will be displayed in the Pasco Autoplex during October showing money raised from the car and RV sales. Last year's food-drive brought the 10-year estimated total to about 300,000 pounds of non-perishable food donations from the Autoplex automotive dealerships, the public and area Yoke's customers.
