Pumpkin donations continued to roll in at Eastgate Elementary School in Kennewick.
School staff said the Country Mercantile of Pasco brought in 100 pumpkins Wednesday morning for students after learning in the Tri-City Herald that the school's pumpkin patch was raided by thieves last weekend.
The Tri-Cities Family Expo also sent a check for $200 to the school and guaranteed free admission to the expo at TRAC in late January for each student.
Staff said that every student through the second grade so far has been able to take home a pumpkin. The hope is the latest donations will guarantee every student through the fifth grade willget to have one.
