SUNNYSIDE -- An arrest by Sunnyside police's Gang Unit of a robbery suspect led to three other arrests, seizure of about two pounds of marijuana and a discovery of property swiped just hours earlier in Benton County.
Gang officers went to a home in the 1000 block of Decatur Avenue around2:15 p.m. Wednesday after getting a tip that Manuel Silva may be there, said Sgt. Joey Glossen.
The 19-year-old Sunnyside man who was wanted for robbery was detained at the home.
While taking him into custody, officers saw marijuana throughout the house and detained three other people in the home while the gang unit got a warrant to search the house, he said.

Officers discovered the two pounds of pot, scales, stolen property and a gun, Glossen said.
They also found a large amount of documents from various areas in Yakima and Benton counties, he said.
Investigators then learned some of the property and documents were stolen about three hours earlier in two burglaries in Benton County.
Also arrested were Starr McDaniel, 37, of Prosser, Sheena Tate, 27, of Granger, and Efrain Perez, 21, of Grandview.
They were held on suspicion of possessing marijuana with intent to deliver, first-degree possession of stolen property, second-degree possession of stolen property, unlawful possession of a firearm and conspiracy to commit identity theft.
