Washington State University Tri-Cities will celebrate Diversity Day throughout the day Friday on its Richland campus.
The school's diversity council has lined up performances of bagpipers and Latin dancers, talks on diversity issues and exhibits on various cultures. The Richland campus is the most diverse within the WSU system, with one out of four students belonging to minorities.
The event is free to the public and will begin on the school's Columbia Center Rotary Stage and end in the Consolidated Information Center. Festivities start at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.
